Munchkin is a joke on role playing games, in which many inside jokes are made, but can still be considered funny by those not famillair with roleplaying games. Munchkin is for 2-6 players and takes from half an hour to an hour to play. With only a five minute setup time. The objective of the game is to gain ten levels, this is done by defeating monsteres, selling treasures and special cards that allow for leveling-up. Players begin the game with one experience point. Players begin thier turn by flipping up a "knocking down a door," this producse a race card, a class card, a spell card, or a monster card. If a monster card is drawn then the player must battle and if it is a spell then they are affected by the spell. With the monsters the player may beat them with the help of an allie, with the help of a spell or just on sheer level. If a player cannot defeat a monster they can attempt to escape by rolling dice, if you win you escape to fight another day but if you lose you lose your items and your level. If you win the battle you can gain a treasure card, and how ever many treasures and points given from the monster defeated. Players can help or hurt other players. Munchkin is vaguely like war, with the cards, the object of chance, and the levels of cards how one card is better then others.

sub search
Title: Sub Search
Publisher: Milton Bradley
Platform: Tabletop, Board
Genre: StrategySub Search is a two player Naval strategy game. The game usually lasts no longer than 30 minuets, although set up takes about 10 mins in itself. Each player has 3 surface ships 3 submarines and one mine. There are three levels for submarines, and the surface for the ships to move along. The mine is placed on the 100ft level and will explode if a ship is placed over top. The submarines are placed, and game play begins. Each ship has as many “depth charges” as there are holes in it. The ships move up to three spaces per turn, and may fire a depth charge to destroy submarines. The player guess the level and the space their ship is on, the other player tells the if it was a miss, a hit or a near miss. A near miss is when the submarine was directly above, or below, or to the left, right, front, or back of the guessed space. Submarines may retaliate with torpedoes in certain situations. The goal of the game is to destroy all of the other player’s submarines. Sub search is very much like Battle Ship with just a few more complexities thrown in.
